I’m a fully qualified driving instructor operating across Sandwich and the surrounding South-East Kent villages. As a former franchisee of the AA, I now work independently — which means I can offer flexible, fully tailored lessons to match your learning style and needs.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to driving after a break, or simply want to polish a particular skill, I adapt every lesson to your pace and progress. I’m DBS-checked, approved by the DVSA, and in 2019 I was honoured to be named “Driving Instructor of the Year — South East”, placing 2nd nationally.

Take your first steps towards driving independence in a modern, dual-controlled manual BMW 118i. With patient, professional instruction, you’ll learn everything from confident clutch control and smooth gear changes to safe decision-making on the road. Every lesson is adapted to your ability and pace, helping you build strong skills, real confidence, and readiness for your driving test.
Motorway
Designed to help you feel comfortable and capable on motorways, these sessions provide hands-on experience in a manual car on busy high-speed roads. You’ll practise joining and leaving motorways safely, maintaining correct lane positioning, overtaking with confidence, and responding calmly to unexpected situations. Perfect for newly qualified drivers or anyone wanting extra motorway experience before driving solo.
Whether you’ve had time away from driving or want to improve specific manual skills, these refresher lessons offer focused, supportive guidance. Lessons are personalised to cover areas such as clutch control, roundabouts, complex junctions, or rebuilding overall confidence. Whatever your goal, we’ll help you feel relaxed, capable, and in control behind the wheel again.
